Craig, Kelley & Faultless, a nationally recognized personal injury firm, is proud to announce that David W. Craig, managing partner and a founding member of the law firm, has successfully achieved recertification for the next five years in Truck Accident Law.
Recertification is awarded by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) and accredited by the American Bar Association. Board certification conveys that an attorney has done the extra work to be certified in a specific legal field. David is proud to be an advocate for the victims of car accidents with semis, large trucks and other commercial motor vehicles.
The NBTA board certification in truck accident law requires that attorneys meet a set of standards demonstrating their experience and expertise in the practice of truck accident trial law. Board certification is the highest, most stringent and most reliable honor an attorney can achieve. Certification means an attorney has:
- Demonstrated substantial trial experience
- Passed a written examination on truck accident law
- Submitted judicial and peer references attesting to their accomplishments in truck accident law
- Attended continuing legal education courses in truck accident law, including writing articles and books, participating in truck accident law organizations, and speaking at truck accident law conferences
- Proved good standing and adherence to high ethical standards through enrollment in ethics courses and seminars, participation in ethics-based organizations, etc.
David, who is managing partner of Craig, Kelley & Faultless, has been practicing law since he graduated from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 1985. He grew up in Indiana and has represented clients across the state as a personal injury attorney. He is recognized as a Top 10 Trucking Trial Lawyer and Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Indiana by the National Trial Lawyers, as well as a Top 50 Indiana lawyer by Super Lawyers.
In 2020, David published his book, Semitruck Wreck, A Guide for Victims and Their Families, which addresses the many questions that come after a tragic wreck. His podcast, After the Crash, informs listeners of the dangers involving semis and large trucks that do not follow Indiana law safety protocol regarding speed, weather conditions, maintenance upkeep, and more.
David is on the Board of Regents of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. He was the recipient of the National Thurgood Marshall “Fighting for Justice” Award for his work helping victims of truck wrecks.
