Dedicated Indiana Injury Attorney
Attorney Scott A. Faultless has dedicated his life and career to making a positive difference in the lives of people as a personal injury attorney and a civic leader.
Scott is a founding member of Craig, Kelley & Faultless LLC, a personal injury law firm recognized by U.S. News—Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” in America. Scott believes that people who are going through a difficult ordeal caused by others’ negligence deserve real compassion and trusted legal guidance. Injured people need a strong advocate who can help them pursue just compensation to overcome their injuries and rebuild their lives.
As an experienced trial attorney, Scott has stood up for the rights of injured people and held wrongdoers accountable in state and federal courts throughout the Midwest. Based on the results achieved, Scott has been recognized by his legal peers as a Super Lawyer in the practice area of general personal injury—plaintiffs.
Cases and Achievements
Scott has focused much of his legal practice on representing accident victims in cases involving commercial truck accidents. He is among a select group of attorneys who have earned board certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy in commercial truck accident law. Obtaining board certification requires passing a comprehensive exam, demonstrating extensive trial experience, and fulfilling the peer review and continuing education requirements established by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
He also has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 10 Trucking Trial Lawyer and a Top 100 Trial Lawyer. He has written extensively on truck accident legal issues and presented topics to the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America.
In 2020, Scott received the President’s Award from the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association in recognition of his dedication to standing up for injured people and pursuing civil justice.
Scott’s Background
Scott grew up on a farm in Greene County, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in 1988 and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 1991.
“I grew up on a farm,” Scott recalls. “After school, you started working, feeding the cows, putting up hay. My father worked as a farmer and high school vocational teacher and my mother worked in a factory. They taught me the value of hard work.”
Scott and his wife have been married for more than thirty (30) years and they have five (5) children. For many years, Scott has been actively involved in civic activities in his community. He volunteered his time to coach his children’s soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and softball teams.
