Throughout the years, the law firm of Craig, Kelley & Faultless LLC has had the privilege of assisting other attorneys with their wrongful death and personal injury cases. Often, these cases involve semi-tractor trailers or other commercial vehicle accidents. Craig, Kelley & Faultless LLC has worked with many lawyers throughout Indiana, as well as in other states. Our lawyers are licensed to practice in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Missouri. We have also handled semi cases in Kansas and Kentucky.
Typically, Craig, Kelley & Faultless LLC is asked to take over primary responsibility for the cases we handle. We can work up the case, advance the expenses, handle all litigation experts, mediate the case, and handle the trial if a trial is necessary. However, each case is different and the firm has worked out many different types of arrangements.
For example, the firm has been hired simply to help with mediation. We have been hired solely to handle a trial or to serve as local counsel. We have also been hired to work jointly on cases with other attorneys and to share the work and the expenses equally.
What Are Our Attorney Referral Fees?
Because of the wide variety of working relationships, our fee sharing arrangement varies. The fee split is dictated by the specific relationship that is created as well as the Rules of Professional Responsibility.
Partner David W. Craig handles the firm’s referral relations. David has been practicing in the area of personal injury since 1985. During that time, David and the firm have handled thousands of injury and wrongful death cases. Most cases settle, but if not, Craig, Kelley & Faultless LLC has the resources and experience to prosecute a case through trial and appeal, if necessary. The trial lawyers with our firm continue to try cases on a regular basis.
Our Truck Accident Experience
David Craig has extensive experience handling semi-truck and commercial vehicle accidents. He can put together a team of investigators and experts and move quickly to investigate the scene of the accident, download the black box, and secure evidence and court orders to ensure that the truck is not moved and the driver’s log and other key evidence are not destroyed.
David and his partner, Scott A. Faultless, have both been listed among Indiana Super Lawyers® and named among the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers. They have handled dozens of commercial truck collision cases in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, and Kansas. For the past 30 years, David has represented victims and their families in accident cases involving semi-tractor trailers, flatbed trucks, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
David is a National Advisory Board Member of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. He has written and lectured in Indiana and nationally in the area of semi-truck/commercial vehicle wrecks and how to handle cases against trucking companies.
